Accolades and awards are nothing new for Cedar. Besides being recognized as one of the top global marketing leaders by HSMAI, he has been recognized as the “Ad Man of the Year” by the American Advertising Federation. In addition, Cedar has led the agency to win over 200 awards over the past 10 years, including 75 medals in 2013 alone, plus an unprecedented four Best of Show for three different clients.
So far in 2014, Cedar and the Paradise team have already been honored with a record-breaking 41 medals for their innovative and successful creative work, including 20 Gold across all media and platforms and the a coveted Platinum Award for the World’s Best Integrated Campaign, at the New York Adrian Awards, the global “Oscars” of travel, hospitality and entertainment marketing.
Cedar holds a degree in advertising and public relations from Florida State University and helped put himself through school as a bartender in Tallahassee, which explains why he is so good at listening to consumers and clients.
When Cedar is not busy building his client’s business and innovating new strategies, he spends his free time kayaking, boxing and supporting the arts in Tampa Bay.
