You could say PR is in Tara’s blood. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations at University of Central Florida, she headed straight to New York City for the action.
At KB News Network, she carved out a niche as a specialist in culinary and hospitality PR, working on such prestigious accounts as the 21 Club, Rocco DiSpirito’s restaurants Rocco’s and Tuscan Steak and with The Glazier Group. She followed her stint at KBNN working for the legendary modern design company, Knoll Inc. in their New York headquarters. At Knoll, Tara worked as a project-marketing manager. Her client roster included, HBO, CBS and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
After 11 years in Manhattan, Tara, who grew up in Sarasota, returned to Florida in 2012, where she worked as the Media Relations Manager for the Citrus County Visitors and Convention Bureau.
When her husband Kenny landed the position of Executive Chef at Sea Salt restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg, the couple and their four-year-old son, Massimo, moved here. It didn’t take long for her and Paradise to discover they were ideally matched.
Tara is a pop-culture aficionado, loves Jane Austen films almost as much as she loves 90s R&B music and has filled her home with Mid-Century Modern design.
