
Paradise has hired Deborah “Debbie” Karasek as Chief Administrative and Chief Financial Officer, a newly evolved role. Based in Jacksonville, Debbie joins nine other Paradise team members based in Northeast Florida who all work remotely from home offices.
In her role, Debbie will oversee talent management, administration, and finances at the growing agency. Debbie will also manage the agency’s operational relationships with ADP, American Express, Axiom Bank, Google, Microsoft, Shapiro Insurance, United Healthcare, and many others.
A veteran accounting, finance, and human resources professional, Debbie brings three decades in finance and administration as a controller, director of finance, accounts payable and receivable, as well as human resources. Debbie has delivered impeccable results in a variety of industries, including hospitality and tourism, company insurance, restaurants, nonprofits, government, real estate, law, and finance.
Most recently Debbie served as an Accounting and Human Resources leader for Next Science, a medical technology company headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with a research and development center based in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the years, Debbie has managed finance, budgeting, accounting, and human resources for large enterprise organizations such as California Dreaming, Sawgrass Country Club, Atlantic Beach Country Club, Watson Realty Corp, and United Way of Northeast Florida.

Debbie is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
