Once again, the captivating, compelling and impactful work of Paradise Advertising & Marketing has been recognized by leaders of the tourism industry at the Annual VISIT FLORIDA Flagler Awards. Held in Tampa on Thursday, November 19, the awards gala marked a banner night for the agency, which took home ‘Best of Show’ top honors along with two Henry Awards and four silver Flaglers.

A full-service marketing agency that focuses on consumer-focused brands and businesses, Paradise is known for its innovative and data-led brand and media strategies that drive loyalty, customer growth and bottom lines. “I am incredibly proud of the work that our team and our client partners have been recognized for this year,” said Barbara Karasek, CEO and Co-owner of Paradise. “The work was fresh and creative, thoughtful and strategic, and directly impacted our clients tourism economy. Named for Henry Flagler, the VISIT FLORIDA Flagler Awards were established in 2000 to recognize outstanding tourism marketing in Florida. “It is an honor to have VISIT FLORIDA and our industry peers judge our work to be the most successful and original in the state,” said Tom Merrick, VP and Chief Creative Officer at Paradise. “I am proud of our team’s award-winning work. Presented by VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s tourism marketing corporation, The Flagler Awards honor the countless individuals and organizations that help position Florida as one of the top travel destinations in the world. Each year the Flagler Awards pay tribute to the determined efforts of those who use their skill, resourcefulness, creativity and innovative spirit to market Florida to the world.

Based on the judges’ cumulative scores, awards were presented to the top three entries in each category: the Bronze Award for the third highest scoring entry, the Silver Award for the second highest scoring entry, and the Henry Award for the highest scoring entry in each category. “Best of Show” awards are given at three budget levels.
