Partnership Aims to Enhance Growth Plans for Florida’s Largest Independent Coffee Roaster

Kahwa Coffee Roasting Company is the largest and fastest-growing independent coffee roaster based in the state of Florida. Today Kahwa Coffee can be found in 14 branded cafes and kiosks in the Tampa Bay area and in more than 800 establishments, from numerous hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., inside the Walt Disney World Epcot Theme Park France Pavilion, in select Publix, Lucky’s, Whole Foods grocery stores and more.

As Agency of Record, Paradise will provide strategic planning, brand development, creative services, public relations, advertising media and data analytics for the 13-year old St. Petersburg-based coffee brand.

In addition to Paradise marketing services, Kahwa Coffee will receive business development and sales channel strategy consulting services from co-owners Barbara and Tony Karasek to help with their business expansions in wholesale, retail cafe, grocery, and e-commerce channels. Kahwa Coffee has maintained steady growth since being founded in 2006 as a boutique coffee brand by Sarah and Raphael Perrier. To keep pace with its continued growth, Kahwa Coffee recently moved into a 20,000-square-foot headquarters complex to house their roastery, warehouse, and company offices under one roof.

“We are truly excited to be working with Paradise, we feel it is a great fit for Kahwa and believe we can grow our business to the next level with them,” said Raphael Perrier.

This client addition nods to Paradise’s own growth strategies to land food and beverage, retail and consumer packaged goods clientele. These categories reflect the Karasek’s long-standing expertise and successful track record in the aforementioned industries and related channels and verticals before acquiring Paradise in January 2018.

“At Paradise, we think it’s important that we love the brands we represent,” said Paradise CEO and Co-owner Barbara Karasek. “And Kahwa makes that easy with their amazing coffee — a favorite amongst our team! Their incredible product and our proven ability to help companies grow are a perfect match for each other.”

The two organizations share another trait that bodes well for their partnership; Both Kahwa and Paradise are led by a dynamic husband and wife team with similar core values. “Raphael and Sarah saw something in Paradise that would help them get to the next level,” said Karasek. “Tony and I feel the exact same way about Kahwa. We’re excited to see what the future holds for both of our companies.”

Kahwa Coffee is the fourth new client for Paradise so far in 2019.
