As tourism to North Georgia’s mountains surged, Blue Ridge, Georgia found itself growing faster than its brand identities could keep pace. With Fannin County drawing 2.8 million out-of-market visitors in 2025, multiple inconsistent identities — including lingering references to the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce and community names — were creating confusion in the marketplace, weakening recognition at the exact moment the region needed clarity most.
The opportunity was to establish Blue Ridge, Georgia as a clear parent brand and create one connected, trustworthy brand architecture.

The team refined the Blue Ridge and Fannin County Chamber of Commerce identities to work together as a unified system rather than separate, competing marks, anchoring the work in a brand promise that Blue Ridge isn’t just a getaway — it’s a “get to.” Comprehensive brand guides then carried that unified system consistently across every audience touchpoint, including website, media, digital, print, signage, badges, social, collateral, and visitor center and partner materials.
Equally important was rollout: rather than simply launching the new identities, the team prioritized a community unveiling at the local level, introducing the refined brands directly to partners and residents. This grounded the rebrand in local buy-in from the start, ensuring adoption wasn’t just top-down marketing, but a shared, community-endorsed evolution of how the region presents itself to the world.
A look at the refined brand identity and campaign creative developed to bring “Don’t Just Get Away. Get To Something Unforgettable.” to life across Blue Ridge, the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce, and McCaysville & the Copper Basin.
