Turning Big Assets Into a BIG Advantage

Little Rock had the hard assets meeting planners look for — more than 7,000 hotel rooms and a 220,000-square-foot convention center in a walkable capital city — but a strong facilities package alone doesn’t win a national planner’s business. The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau needed a campaign that could raise awareness with the national planner audience, drive qualified engagement at the trade shows where planners are actively evaluating destinations, and hand its sales team leads warm enough to convert into RFPs and booked business.

Paradise’s approach started from how planners actually evaluate a destination: on tangible, defensible advantages — not generic appeal. That meant building one flexible creative platform that could lead with Little Rock’s real strengths and show up credibly everywhere planners engage, from a website visit to a trade show floor to a leave-behind after a conversation, with leads, RFPs and bookings built in as shared sales-and-marketing success metrics from the start.

THE APPROACH
“Little Rock BIG Advantage”

Paradise developed “Little Rock BIG Advantage,” a campaign platform built around a simple, ownable idea: Little Rock offers meeting planners outsized advantages relative to its size. The “BIG” wordmark became a flexible creative device — BIG Advantage, BIG Value, BIG Appeal, BIG Possibilities — each variant built around striking split-image photography of the city’s skyline, convention center and cultural landmarks.

The platform ran across targeted print, digital and banner advertising, then extended into the physical spaces where planners make decisions: CarVertise vehicle wraps circulating at major conventions and an immersive trade show booth reinforcing the campaign’s core facts directly to planners on the show floor, supported by “Little Rockers” giveaways to drive booth traffic. A dedicated multicultural meetings track — “One Meeting and You’ll Be BIG on Little Rock” — anchored its own landing page, email marketing and native content, with every touchpoint driving back to a single conversion path on the website.
