Paradise Work Celebrated with Four Top Honors at Visit Florida Tourism Awards

State Tourism Authority Recognizes Agency for Campaigns for Naples, Marco Island in Out-of-Home, Niche Marketing, Mixed Media and Print Advertising categories

Paradise Advertising & Marketing Inc (“Paradise”) was recently honored with four Flaglers, including two Henry trophies, at the Annual VISIT FLORIDA Flagler Awards for impactful work done on behalf of long-standing client Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Governor’s Conference awards gala, held in Tampa, Fl, recognized outstanding work in the state’s “most important industry” with two Henry Awards and two Flaglers for work done on behalf of the client by Paradise, a renowned full-service marketing agency partner that specializes in tourism and hospitality.

Presented by VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s tourism marketing corporation, The Flagler Awards are named for tourism visionary Henry Flagler and honor the countless individuals and organizations that help position Florida as one of the top travel destinations in the world. Each year the Flagler Awards pay tribute to the determined efforts of those who use their skill, resourcefulness, creativity and innovative spirit to market Florida to the world.

Henry Awards

Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau for Print and Out-of Home Marketing: a remarkable campaign that used the power of emotions to create a memorable brand experience for potential visitors from Chicago, IL and Hartford-New Haven, CT, by incorporating the innovative use of scent marketing (the essence of beach) in the campaign strategy. Also, the Henry winner in the print category culminated a smart campaign to lure high-end Canadian visitors to the destination and away from their beloved “cottage” summer getaways in Northern Ontario. As part of the effort, visually captivating ads were strategically placed in high-traffic commuter areas for affluent Canadians, resulting in more than $7.4M impressions and a 105 percent year-over-increase in website visits, and a dramatic increase in flight and hotel searches, leading to approximately $303,000 in gross revenue.

Flagler Awards

Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau for “¡ARTE VIVA! A Celebration of Hispanic Arts & Culture” (Niche Marketing – Silver Award), and the wildly successful integrated media promotion of an arts and cultural festival that delivered record-breaking attendance numbers in its second year and served more than $8M impressions across all digital campaigns.

Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau for “Only Paradise Will Do” (Mixed Media – Bronze) elevated the already successful “Only Paradise Will Do” campaign with a bold new look featuring a large “ONLY” graphic incorporated into the design, which served to highlight the outstanding and exclusive nature of the brand. Placed as high-profile native insertions in high-impact and premium media, the campaign was a key contributor to the destination’s garnering an overall 34 percent increase year-over-year.
