What do you do at Paradise and how long have you been with the agency?
I am the Senior Social Media Manager at Paradise Advertising, and I have been with the agency since October of 2024.
Tell us more about your role at Paradise
As Senior Social Media Manager, I oversee social media strategy and day-to-day account management for our client, Florida’s Paradise Coast as well as managing the agency social channels. My role includes developing content calendars, creating and scheduling content, coordinating and completing on-location content captures, managing online communication, and sourcing and curating user-generated content. I also contribute to copywriting projects, including social campaigns, blogs and other digital content.
How long have you been in Marketing & Communications?
I have been working in Marketing since my graduation from college in 2019.
What drew you to a career in our field?
My path into marketing began with fashion. In high school, I created my blog, Tori State of Mind, which originally focused on fashion and has since evolved to include travel and lifestyle content. I also launched a corresponding Instagram account during my junior year of high school. Through building those platforms, I discovered how much I enjoyed content creation, copywriting, audience engagement and the strategy behind growing an online presence. That hands-on experience naturally led me to a career in social media management and marketing.

How do you spend your time when not connecting people to brands?
I have two large working-breed dogs—a German Shepherd (Pickles) and a Siberian Husky (Dilly)—so they keep me very busy. I also love trying new restaurants, traveling with my boyfriend and creating content for my personal travel and lifestyle platform, Tori State of Mind.
Last tv series/show that you’ve binged or been hooked on?
I just finishing up Landman
Favorite movie of all time?
The original Indiana Jones movies. I could never choose just one!

What’s one thing about you that people would be surprised to learn?
Before building my career in social media, I earned two fashion degrees—including one in Fashion Design. My creative background still influences how I approach visual storytelling, content development and brand strategy today. Fun fact: I also developed a sustainable swimwear line during COVID.
Favorite Paradise memory or experience?
Some of my favorite experiences have been attending productions and capturing content throughout Florida’s Paradise Coast. I love seeing all the moving pieces behind a campaign come together, from the larger production vision to the spontaneous, authentic moments that work especially well on social media. It is rewarding to experience a destination firsthand and then turn those moments into stories that inspire someone else to visit.
What else should we know about you?
I’m naturally curious and always looking for the next place to explore, restaurant to try or story to tell. I enjoy working at the intersection of creativity and strategy—finding ways to make content feel engaging and authentic. I’m also very rarely without my phone, because I never know when something will turn into the perfect piece of content. This drives my boyfriend a little crazy. If it had to choose another career, it would be as a florist. I’m obsessed with creating new flower arrangements and finding fun ways to make unique creations.
